Amy R. Wilson

Ms. Wilson is a native of the Phoenix area and graduated from Coronado High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Ms. Wilson received her Bachelor of Science in Geography, cum laude, from Arizona State University in May of 2000. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Wilson worked in the construction industry at engineering and landscape architecture firms, focusing on drafting both state and federal environmental compliance documentation. In May of 2005, she received her Juris Doctorate and a Certificate from Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, with a Specialization in Environmental Law from the Center for the Study of Law, Science & Technology.

Following law school, Ms. Wilson worked in the field of water resources management as both a regulator and as an attorney. Her water rights practice included managing developer surface and groundwater rights, environmental litigation, and State and Federal administrative law. After a few years, her practice shifted to insurance defense, primarily in the areas of construction defect and product liability litigation.

Since joining Stein and Stein, P.C. in 2015, Ms. Wilson has applied her unique background in environmental resources and construction to serve the firms’ diverse business clients’ needs in both litigation and general business matters.

Similarly to firm co-founder Henry Stein, Ms. Wilson’s approach is to negotiate a just and equitable resolution of the client’s issues, whenever possible. When litigation or arbitration is the only option to achieve and protect the client’s interests, she is ready to take a case through trial and beyond.
